Outing to Wildpark Poing
The Christophorus Schulverein in Trudering and Riem caters for pre-school children who are in some way disadvantaged. These children are mentally challenged through trauma, personal circumstances or family situations.
Each year since 2020, our outreach programme has supported both pre-schools with small chocolate gifts at Nikolaus and Easter.
Additionally, the committee is able to fund annual outings for both schools to the Wildpark in Poing. Outreach members accompany the children, their siblings, their parents and their teachers on these summer trips.
It’s such a rewarding experience just listening and observing the children. Who sometimes demonstrate real courage feeding the animals, as well as joy and delight as they encounter various wild life in their natural but safe environments at Wildpark Poing. An absolute highlight for everyone. Do please join us next time!
