The reverend DANIEL MORROW

Dan previously served as the Canon for Congregational Life and Mission in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania. In that role, he helped congregations find their God-given mission, creatively work through conflict and grow in grace and number.  Before joining the bishop’s staff in Central PA, he was rector of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oregon City, Oregon a parish that doubled in size during his tenure. Dan has a zeal for international church ministry having previously served congregations in Zurich, Switzerland and Paris, France. In addition to parish and diocesan work, he has served at three General Conventions, on non-profit executive boards, and as convocation dean. He teaches at the College for Congregational Development and is a past Missional Leadership Fellow of Luther Seminary. Dan is passionate about community and congregational development, missional engagement, and the Jesus movement that calls us to reconciling work.  He is currently writing his doctoral thesis on Intercultural Congregational Development at Bexley-Seabury Episcopal Seminary.

In his free time, Dan enjoys hiking, playing music (guitar and mandolin), visiting art museums, reading and travelling. Originally from Oklahoma, he is married to Teresa Morris-Morrow, a North Carolina native who works as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. They are joined by their Bavarian dachshund Melba and their orange tabby Miles.
