“MANY NATIONS, ONE GIFT”
As part of our Pentecost celebration, church members were invited to bring unused foreign coins and notes from their travels, inherited coins and notes, or old and obsolete currency that is no longer usable.
At Pentecost, people from many nations heard the Gospel in their own languages. Our collection reflects that same spirit: many countries, many currencies, gathered into one shared gift.
Even small or forgotten coins and notes can become meaningful when brought together. As the collection is sorted and converted into euros, we will update this page with the countries represented, interesting finds, and the total amount raised.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
This poster shows the remarkable spread of countries and territories represented in our Pentecost Coin and Note Collection so far. What began as a simple invitation to bring unused foreign coins and notes has become a visible reminder of the international life of our church community.
Each coin tells a small story — of travel, family, memory, generosity, and connection.
Together, these many currencies are being gathered into one shared gift for the life and work of the church.
